Purchased by the Busch family, this former Missouri farmland once plowed by Ulysses S. Grant, is now a popular St Louis visitors’ destination. Ride an open air Eisenbahn coach past Mirror Lake to Grant’s Cabin, which was built in 1856 and has a fence across it constructed from 2,563 rifle barrels as a Civil War Memorial. The coach will then take you through Deer Park, where more than 100 species of bison, elk, antelope, zebras, llamas, and ostriches can be seen. Pet and hand feed some of the animals and attend entertaining, educational shows featuring African Elephants, parrots and birds of prey at the Tier Garten Amphitheater.
Grant’s Farm is also home to the world famous Budweiser Clydesdales. Take the tour through their breeding operation and get an opportunity to see the Clydesdale sires, mares and foals up close in their pastures adjacent to the beautiful Clydesdale Stables.
